It was only after a meeting with Francois Payot, the general manager of Rip Curl that the pioneering concept of a Surfing, Yoga and Wellbeing Resort was established.
The initial idea was to create a resort totally in harmony with its local environment. As such, all the plants in the resort are local species, the building materials are all natural and were all acquired from within a 30km radius of the grounds, and local craftsmanship has been used in both the construction of the resort, and in its interior design.
