Recognition of Savoy’s Signature excellence

Crowning a resurgent year, Savoy Signature is delighted to have scooped two prizes at the prestigious World Travel Awards 2021

Two Savoy Signature gems on the island of Madeira have been recognised at the recent World Travel Awards, capping off a highly successful year for the group. Savoy Palace won Portugal’s ‘Leading Luxury Hotel 2021’ and Saccharum won Europe’s ‘Leading Island Resort 2021’. Adding to this, Madeira won Europe’s ‘Leading Island Destination 2021’.

Savoy Palace  
Savoy Palace, Madeira’s only member of Leading Hotels of The World, is a game-changer for the destination in terms of contemporary luxury properties. Saccharum are just as passionate about their food and drink. The Alambique restaurant is inspired by the processes that occurred in the old sugar distillery and is dedicated to marrying the cream of Madeira’s gastronomy with international flavours.
