According to the Wine and Spirit Trade Association (WSTA), tequila sales have almost doubled in value in UK supermarkets in the last two years, with sales up by 83% compared to pre-covid. Consumers have shifted their drinking habits and are increasingly opting for a better-quality and super-premium tequila’s such as those made from 100% blue agave.

Kenny’s Favourite Marg – Recipe 

Ingredients

60ml 818 Tequila Reposado 

15ml Premium Orange Liqueur 

22ml Fresh Lime Juice 

15ml Agave Syrup (50% Agave Nectar, 50% Water) 

Tajin Salt 

Preparation

Combine all ingredients into a shaker and shake with ice. 

Strain and serve over fresh ice. 

Garnish with half an orange slice and a tajin salt rim.
