Nestled high on a private estate, among olive trees and with stunning sea-views across to Elba and Corisca lies Be Vedetta Relais & Glamping. Here, a combination of tented suites and luxurious 50-square-metre lodges dot the olive grove, with plenty of space between you and your nearest neighbour. Each accommodation evokes an atmosphere of rural ambience, where intimate family inspiration meets stylish interior design. It’s all about refined and unique furnishing solutions, often from upcycled and reclaimed sources. Think relaxed verandas cooled by the sea breeze, grabbing your towel for a pre-dinner swim with nothing but the sound of nature for company.
Your host is Anna Barberini. Having worked all over the world, Anna wanted to bring her dream to life, so she opened the family estate up to a new future, joyfully welcoming lovers of beauty and nature. Every detail of Be Vedetta Relais & Glamping is designed to make guests feel at home, with each personally curated by Anna. Family inspiration is everywhere, even the names of the suites hark back to her ancestors. While the lodges are dedicated to the Pleiades, the stars that guide those out on the sea.

All suites and tents offer total privacy, including private bathrooms with walk-in showers. Your breakfast is locally-sourced and personalised. There is 24-hour concierge, smart and Sky TV, king-size beds, even a menu to choose your pillow from. There is a free minibar, hairdryer with diffuser, a selection of tea and coffee with a cappuccino machine, air conditioning, the list goes on. Furthermore, Be Vedetta Relais & Glamping loves dogs and cats, and you will find they are well catered for. Plus, a charging station for electric cars is available 24/7 in the parking lot.

Rossocorbezzolo Restaurant is where Italian culinary flair meets timeless traditions. Spacious tables set in the porch and garden are kissed by the sea breeze and blessed by fiery sunsets – an unparalleled panorama of Elba and Corisca awaits. Each day, Chef Mirela offers a culinary experience like no other, with every dish testament to the chef ’s love of locally-sourced great- tasting food. In the kitchen, only the best ingredients are selected from local organic products, Slow Food Presidia, and Vedetta’s bio-garden vegetables are the order of the day in a place that carries a zero-tolerance for insecticides and pesticides. If it’s not eco, it’s not in.
Sommelier Francesca Fommei oversees the wines, from the wineries of the Maremma Wine Road (including Monteregio di Massa Marittima, Montecucco, or Morellino di Scansano as well as from the nearby Bolgheri DOC). Then there is amaros, grappas, and liqueurs to enjoy as a digestif by the fire-pit. The organic EVO oil used in the kitchen is produced by their La Forcola farm. All said, you will never want to leave.
