Ixchel launches London’s most decadent taco

South-Eastern Mexican restaurant and Tequila bar, Ixchel, has launched an exclusive taco for the month of October that coincides with National Taco Day and National Vodka Day, which happened earlier this month.

Carefully crafted by Head Chef, Ximena Gayosso, this taco is a corn tortilla filled with a whole soft shell crab fried in a vodka batter and topped with a fresh scallop tartare and Oscietra caviar, combining incredible produce with delicate flavours.

The limited edition dish is available until 31st October.

To complement the culinary delights, the hidden Tequila bar has one of the largest collections of agave-based liquor in Europe, with a vast list of both premium Tequilas and Mezcals, sourced directly from artisanal distilleries in Mexico. With expert mixologists led by Bar Manager, Manuel Lema, at the helm, guests can expect a wide array of innovative cocktail creations, meticulously crafted with the essence of the Yucatan in mind.
