Los Mochis, the much-loved restaurant where Tokyo meets Tulum, is excited to announce that their flagship rooftop restaurant Los Mochis London City is set to open on the 11th April. Founded by Markus Thesleff, Los Mochis London City will bring their Pan-Pacific pairing of Mexican-Japanese cuisine from West London to the heart of Liverpool Street for the first time.

We invite you to explore this one of-a-kind space, from the vibrant main dining room with a sushi bar, to a scenic rooftop terrace, luxurious late-night agaveria bar and lounge, and intimate private dining room, with each area offering its own distinctive ambiance.

Los Mochis Executive Chef, Leonard Tanyag, has meticulously created a highly technical menu that is completely tree nut and gluten free, where all vegetarian dishes are also vegan by design, blending Japanese elegance with Mexican vibrancy. The restaurant, with space for 150 diners, will feature a Sushi Bar and Robata Grill with 15 different Kushiyaki (grilled skewers) charred over open fire, as well as unique sharing dishes make your own tacos, such as Wagyu Grade 5 Tomahawk steaks, and whole roasted King Crab Legs. Adding elements of table side theatre will see a Caesar Salad trolley weave its way table to table, the Tijuana-native dish ready to be dressed and tossed to order alongside house-cured and hand carved melt-in-the-mouth Wagyu Jamón legs.

On arrival, guests will be immersed into the world of Los Mochis as they are greeted by a 24ft vibrant, hand-painted mural by Mexican artist, Tellaeche. Once whisked up to the lounge with iconic views of the cityscape via private elevators, diners will be greeted by a 7-meter curated Wine and Sake room before entering the Agaveria Bar & Lounge, the perfect vantage point to watch the sun set while listening to resident DJ’s late into the night. The main bar will boast one of the largest selections of fine and rare tequilas and mezcals in Europe.
