Reconnect with nature: The Botanist gin foraging experience

Locally sourced ingredients always taste better, and even more so when you have gathered them yourself. Fully integrated into the foraging movement, The Botanist Gin has gathered chefs, bartenders from the most renowned bars and restaurants in London including Sager + Wilde, Three Sheets and The Lyan Group to embrace their wild side to create a mouth-watering dining experience for London Cocktail Week from foraged ingredients found in parks across the capital.

This London Cocktail Week, gin-lovers are invited to ‘go wild’ at The Foragers Table hosted by The Botanist at The Shoreditch Treehouse. The experience includes a three-course culinary tour of wild London, exploring the flavourful finds that can be foraged in the city.

Curated by Craig Grozier, renowned Scottish chef, founder of Fallachan and in-house chef for The Botanist Gin, the experience seeks to reconnect people with nature to bring to life the ethos behind The Botanist Gin. Each dish will be expertly paired with a cocktail created by Marcis Dzelzainis, drinks curator at Sager + Wilde, Rosey Mitchell, global competition winning bartender from Three Sheets and Robin Honhold from The Lyan Group.

For those seeking a strictly gin affair, The Botanist will also host a series of foraging cocktail masterclasses on Saturday 6th October. Each 45 minute session includes a neat gin tasting, followed by the opportunity for guests to pick their own garnish, and sip on their creations in the Treehouse bar.
